| BUSINESS CHALLENGE
The need for a professional approach to managing projects is a reality. Organisations are more than ever, relying on project managers who deliver strategic results.
On successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded the National Diploma in Project Management (NDPM), which provides formal recognition of their competency. They will have learnt the knowledge and applied the skills required for effective management of larger projects in a wide range of contexts.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The National Diploma in Project Management - Level 5 recognises the skills and knowledge of a project manager. People awarded this qualification will have demonstrated that they have taken responsibility for managing projects, including managing the work of others within a project team.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
The programme runs over a 12-month period and involves four compulsory modules plus three additional days of elective modules.

Elective options must be a minimum unit standard credit value of 35 credits (of which 11 credits are at a minimum of level 5 and 24 credits are at a minimum of at Level 4 or above).
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The programme is highly practical and participatory involving brainstorming, case studies, individual and group exercises and application of project management principles to the participants own workplaces. A major project planning exercise and presentation.
The structure of the National Diploma in Project Management is made up of four compulsory modules over 9 days (85 credits), plus 3 days of elective modules (minimum 35 credits).
