Principles of Policy Design

This workshop introduces analysts to basic economic frameworks that can be applied to the development of public policy. It offers an overview of economic principles as they apply to the role function of governments. The workshop has a practical focus with special attention to examples of how economic concepts work in the policy environment. Practical exercises are a key feature of this workshop.

  • an understanding of some alternative economic frameworks
  • applied economic principles to practical policy issues.
