For over 60 years Management Magazine has been the officially recognised publication of the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM). As our country’s leading professional body for managers, NZIM sets the standards for management education, training and development in New Zealand.

Management Focus is an initiative established by a group of leading New Zealand private and public sector organisations. By pooling the resources and expertise of these organisations Management Focus aims to bring a collaborative effort to improving New Zealand's management capability.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) was established in 1969. Since then, it has grown to be the world’s largest and most influential project management associations, and now has around 250,000 members globally. PMI New Zealand Chapter (PMINZ) was officially granted its charter to operate in New Zealand in 1994 and has experienced exceptional growth since then; regularly receiving international PMI awards in recognition of its success.

The Human Resources Institute of New Zealand are the professional organisation for people who are interested or involved in the management and development of human resources. NZIM have worked with HRINZ as members of the organisation and have collaborated on joint networking events to promote international keynote speakers and presenters.
The AUT Foundation is a charitable trust set up to manage all donations to AUT University. It has the freedom to raise money and seek resources for AUT’s activities and development. NZIM are proud sponsors of the 2009/10 AUT Top Graduate BBus. Majoring in Management Award.
The New Zealand Institute of Management present the New Zealand alumni of Cranfield School of Management, in partnership with the School, to offer the Cranfield New Zealand Alumni Scholarship for outstanding New Zealand MBA candidates.
Lean 6 Sigma are practitioners focussed on helping small and medium companies reach their goals for sustainable process performance. Through NZIM the approach is to work with companies to help get them started with continuous improvement or re-energise existing programmes - developing internal employees to be confident enough to apply the principles of lean and six sigma to achieve tangible results.
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) seeks to ensure that New Zealand qualifications are accepted as credible and robust, nationally and internationally. NZIM work closely with NZQA when designing and facilitating new and existing extended programmes that result in qualifications.
Canon and NZIM have worked together to implement the new SMART Board technology into our pupose built training facilities. People choose the SMART Board interactive whiteboard because it helps energise presentations and motivate learners. In 1991, it was the world's first interactive whiteboard. Today, it is the world's leading interactive whiteboard.

All NZIM professional short courses and extended programmes are catered by Benzoni Catering Kitchen. They provide the complete catering service for every type of NZIM course, function or gathering where superb cuisine is an integral part.

NZIM has close links with its sister management organisations in Asia Pacific (particularly the Australian Institute of Management and the Asian Association of Management Organisations).
